  1. It takes critical thinking to go a bit deeper from the “sound bites” that we hear – from both sides! How many millions of young people are now benefiting from the Affordable Care Act by being able to stay on parent’s insurance until age 26. My 92 year old father-in-law is saving hundreds of dollars in pharmacy bills in the past year – money that he uses to pay his bills and buy food. Another provision in the bill – in 2017, individual states will be able to do some tweaking. This Act is a “work in progress”. Bugs will be worked out – and it is not perfect. But it is a beginning! And long overdue.
