WAGS & WHISKERS: A cat sweeter than her name

BIG RAPIDS — Skittles is beautiful gray tabby kitten with gold eyes who is about 12 weeks old and looking for a forever home. She is up for adoption at the Animal Rescue Coalition.

She is an extremely loving kitten who loves to be held like a baby and give kisses to the ARC volunteers. A happy kitten, her purring rarely quits. She gets along very well with other cats, enjoys playing and seems to stay out of trouble.

“I don’t know how anyone could resist her,” said ARC Manager Cynthia Glazier.

She is not yet spayed, as she is too young. Kittens should be about six months old before the surgery takes place, Glazier added. Skittles is also up to date on her vaccinations and is feline leukemia negative.
