Salvation Army to host costume party at this week’s Talking Donkey Cafe

BIG RAPIDS — This week’s Talking Donkey Cafe will feature musical act Nate Woodard, of Grand Rapids and a costume party with a prize for the best costume. The cafe will take place from 7 to 11 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, at the Salvation Army.

The cafe is available to area young adults aged 18 to 30. Each week it features open mic nights, free hot tea and coffee and Wi-Fi for those working on homework.
