Mecosta County’s 49th Circuit Court report

BIG RAPIDS — The following cases were heard this week in Mecosta County’s 49th Circuit Court. All cases might not be reported.

  • Anthony Darnell Patterson, 21, of Grand Rapids, pleaded guilty to one count of receiving and concealing a stolen firearm and one count of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. In exchange for his plea, the prosecutor’s office dismissed one count of felony firearm and one count of carrying a concealed weapon. The court accepting his plea is contingent on Patterson also pleading to one count of carrying a concealed weapon and one count of felony firearm in Kent County. Sentencing is set for Monday, Jan. 26.
  • Adonisce Lamar Johnson, 20, of Muskegon, pleaded guilty to unlawful driving away of a motor vehicle. In exchange for his plea, the prosecutor’s office dismissed one count of larceny in a building. He is sentenced to 11 months to 10 years in prison with credit for 243 days already served.
  • Preston Steven Muscott, 18, of Canadian Lakes, pleaded guilty to attempted unlawful driving away of a motor vehicle. He is sentenced to six months in jail with credit to 120 days already served. He will be on probation for three years.
