Salvation Army offers Budgeting 101 class

BIG RAPIDS — Having problems with financial budgeting?

The Big Rapids Salvation Army will host a Budgeting 101 class for anyone interested, with classes taking place from 7 to 8 p.m. every Monday in February beginning Feb. 2 at the Big Rapids Salvation Army, located at 325 Linden St.

The class will be taught by Lt. Chris Karlin. It will use a Christian view of financial management to help attendees learn how to budget their spending and strategically live within their means.

“The class takes a look at the scriptures in the Bible that have to do with money, and focuses on how to best utilize your resources to honor God and live without financial worry,” said Karlin.

To register for the class, call Chris Vallette at (231) 796-5597.
