BIG RAPIDS — Big Rapids Department of Public Safety officers responded to the following calls on Tuesday. All calls might not be reported.
Tuesday
- Police responded to a three-vehicle accident at 7:04 a.m. on the 300 block of DeKrafft Avenue.
- Officers were called at 9:04 a.m. to the 200 block of Baldwin Street. A black Impala was parked in front of a business for several days without moving. The vehicle was towed at the request of the business owner.
- Police responded to a 911 hangup at 10:10 a.m. on the 600 block of DeKrafft Avenue. It was found an employee accidentally sent a fax to 911. Everything was found to be fine.
- A two-vehicle accident was reported at 10:26 a.m. on South Michigan Avenue near Locust Street. The at-fault driver slid through a stop sign and struck a passing vehicle. There were no injuries. The at-fault driver was cited.
