REMUS — A group of musicians sat down and picked out some tunes during a Saturday jamboree session at the cabin on the grounds of the Wheatland Music Organization.

About a dozen individuals sat in a large circle with their instruments and played together for a few hours. Men and women took turns at the microphone leading a tune for the other players to follow. Attendees performed on all acoustic instruments, including guitar, banjo, fiddle, dulcimer, upright bass, mandolin and ukulele.

The jamboree sessions take place every second Saturday of the month, except in September, at the cabin, located off of 50th Avenue in Remus. All are welcome to join.
