REED CITY — As part of the upcoming shopping season, the public is invited to attend the Holiday Bazaar and Social Justice Event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Reed City Church of the Nazarene.

The purpose of this event is to gather shoppers, creators, small business owners, and non-profit community organizations together to create support for small businesses and those in need. Bazaar organizers hope to bring awareness to both global and local issues as well as offer ways to better these situations.

Non-profit organizations such as the Meceola Human Trafficking Task Force, as well as World Vision, Women At Risk International, and True North Services will be present to provide information on what current organizations are doing for those being marginalized in today’s society. Small businesses and crafters will be selling items. The space rental cost for these vendors will be donated to two local non-profits working to better lives in local communities.
