Morley Stanwood  55, White Cloud 39

MORLEY — Morley Stanwood (15-3, 9-1) clinched the Central State Activities Association Silver Division title outright with this Friday win over White Cloud.

Nic Huntey scored 17 points and had 10 rebounds while Austin Barnes had 11 points for the Mohawks.

“It was a good team win,” Raven said. “All the kids got into the scoring.”

The Mohawks are home against Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart on Tuesday.

Central Montcalm 67, Reed City 59

REED CITY — Trent Sturgell scored 21 points while Karsten Koopman added 12 and Cody Kailing added 11 in Friday’s CSAA loss to Central Montcalm for Reed City (4-14, 4-10). The Coyotes play at Evart on Monday.

“I thought the kids battled hard,” Reed City coach JJ Eads said. “Central Montcalm shot 40 free throws.”

Pine River 59, Lake City 49

LEROY — Tristen Nelson scored 11 points for Pine River (10-8, 7-6) while Hunter Esiline and Brad Holmes added 10 apiece and Mason Powell had nine points and seven assists in Friday’s win over Lake City. Pine River had quarter leads of 17-6, 29-15 and 44-31. Pine River is home Tuesday against Clare.
