LAS VEGAS — Heather Juengel, of Leroy, and Marty Nicklas, of Hersey, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. on Feb. 19, 2017, at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

The bride is the daugther of Nick and Mary Gould, of Leroy, and Bill and Jan Juengel, of Luther. She was given away by her father and her daughter, Kendra Montague. She wore an ivory full-length lace dress with vintage-inspired headband and carried a champagne-colored bouquet she had made which included family heirloom jewelry. She graduated from Pine River High School in 2002 and Ferris State University in 2006 with her bachelor’s degree. She is employed with Spectrum Health Reed City and pursuing her master’s degree in social work at Ferris State University.

The groom is the son of Dave and Sherry Nicklas, of Hersey. A 1996 graduate of Reed City High School, he is employed by the Michigan Department of Transportation.

Close family and friends were present for the ceremony and dinner afterwards. Barbara Battle, a friend of the bride, was present for the wedding and did hair for the bride and her daughter. Sister of the bride, Bridget Johnson, served as matron of honor. The bride’s daughter, Kendra Montague, was the junior bridesmaid and Madeline Johnson, niece of the bride and groom, was the flower girl.

Dave Johnson, brother-in-law of the bride and groom, served as best man and the couple’s nephew, Tyler Johnson, was the ring bearer.

Following the ceremony, the couple enjoyed a seven-day honeymoon cruise. Upon their return to Michigan, a reception took place on March 25 at the Osceola County Fairgrounds. The couple resides in Leroy.
