Evart City Hall temporarily closed

EVART — The City of Evart has announced city hall, located at 200 S. Main St., is temporarily closed until further notice due to elevated levels of mold spores.

According to City Manager Zack Szakacs, city personnel have relocated to the airport terminal building, 5814 100th Ave., at the Evart Municipal Airport.

The offices will be open for business at 7 p.m., today, Wednesday, Nov. 1.

The temporary closure is through due diligence, Szakacs said. The city received results from a completed mold assessment at city hall. The results of air tests by Northern Analytical Services, LLC, indicated elevated levels of mold spores at city hall.

Phone numbers for city personnel will remain the same. Residents also can use the drop box located at city hall.
