Stop worrying!

This condition seems to be rampant in our culture today. We too often live our lives based on the emotions of the moment. The inability to set proper priorities cause struggles where none need to exist. Life no longer seems stable. Relationships come and go. Bad decisions leave a wide path of debris that bring heartbreak and pain for us to clean up and move past. Gossip runs free, destroying the reputations of many. What a wicked and evil behavior to avoid.

The definition of lying seems undefined in our culture. Opinions unfounded in facts pass for truth today. It is sad to be caught in this chaos and confusion when the Bible tells us a better way to live.

Paul tells us in the Bible, “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”(Phil 4:6,7)

God is clear on this. “What about my health condition?” you may ask. God says don’t be full of care for any reason at all. Start making proper health decisions. We have a great God. He will be a help to us.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”(Psa.46:1)

We should start trusting God when it seems there is no answer in circumstances or situation. Well, what about my financial chaos? This is another question asked by many. One word to practice is budget. Start one. Borrower is slave to the lender. Does slavery sound good to you? If you make 14 bad decisions, don’t blame God when you find yourself hanging on a cliff by your fingertips. Whether you believe Satan’s lies about taking drugs for fun or the ads on TV that would have us believe alcohol is just a social practice, Satan is a liar. Pay attention to God’s word.

“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsake; cast down, but not destroyed.”(2 Cor.4:8,9)

Wake up America! Help is available. You need to stop worrying and trust God. He knows best. He gave us the direction book to life. Read it, study it, apply it in your life. See here. There is an emptiness in humans that can’t be filled by immoral sexual behavior, drunkenness, drug use or greedy materialism. It is vain to seek relief running over a cliff. Don’t wait and don’t hesitate. Trust almighty God for a change.

How might you begin this change? Have you been to God in prayer yet? Why not? What is God’s will for you?

“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.”(Acts 16:31)

God is not willing that any should perish. He gives you all the resources you need for peace right here. Christ has come from eternity past to seek and to save sinners. What an unspeakable gift he offers everyone who will come to him by faith. He saves all by his grace. Repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Please open your heart door today. Accept his gift of eternal life right now. Be thankful for the plan of God for our eternal life with him. God’s plan will work. Faith in Christ is the answer. Thank you, Jesus.

Are you being thankful for all the other things God has blessed you with? Think of his love, mercy, forgiveness, and grace. What a blessing he is to us. Well, you can continue to worry if you want to do it. But why does that sound like a good idea? The way to peace is through the Lord Jesus Christ. Take him as your personal Saviour. This is not rocket science. We are all sinners who need a Saviour.

Jesus Christ is that Saviour. In fact, he is the only Saviour that came from God. Jesus shed his blood on the cross to pay our sin debt. He died and was buried in a grave from which he arose the third day. We have a risen Saviour. He will save to the uttermost who believe on him.(Heb.7:25) Get your eternal destiny settled and the rest will fall into place as you obey God. There is life beyond worry through Christ. Seek Christ today and enjoy the peace of God the rest of this year.
