St. Michael students celebrate Valentine’s Day

St. Michael Catholic School students celebrated Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, with a variety of games, snacks and crafts. During one of the games in Kristina Wernette’s fifth- and sixth-grade class, students mimicked anteaters with straws and M&Ms. Students had to move the most candies from a small plastic cup to a bowl the fastest to be named the winner of the challenge. In Jane Martin’s kindergarten class, students spent their morning celebrating their 100th day of school and in the afternoon, they decorated masks, played games and became miniature architects as they constructed different creations with toothpicks and marshmallows.
