Mecosta County’s 77th District Court reports

BIG RAPIDS — The following cases were heard this week in Mecosta County’s 77th District Court. All cases might not be reported.

• Nathan James Springfield, 31, of Sparta, pleaded guilty to one count of driving with a suspended license and one count of possession of marijuana. He is sentenced to 10 days in jail with three days credit. He is given the option to perform 56 hours of community service in lieu of jail. He will be on probation for one year.

• Samantha Rae Their, 23, of Big Rapids, pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree retail fraud. She is sentenced to five days in jail. She is given the option to perform 40 hours of community service in lieu of jail. She must complete the economic crime program.

• Ronald Dennis Painter, 38, of Stanwood, pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended license. He is sentenced to time served. In a separate case, Painter was charged with use of marijuana. He was sentenced to time served.

• Abdulrazag Attiah Alrawail, 29, of Big Rapids, pleaded guilty to use of marijuana. He was sentenced to time served.

• Jason Douglas Meissner, 33, of Morley, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. He is sentenced to 60 days in jail with three days credit. He is authorized to perform work release.

• Robert Shane Hough, 38, of Newaygo, pleaded guilty to use of marijuana. He is sentenced to 10 days in jail with one day credit. He is given the option to perform 72 hours of community service in lieu of jail.

• Tony Lee Messer, 43, of Big Rapids, pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended license. He is sentenced to 15 days in jail. He is authorized to perform work release.

• Marty James Beemer, 49, of Big Rapids, pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended license. He is sentenced to 10 days in jail. He is given the option to perform 80 hours of community service in lieu of jail.

• Ashley Taylor Wheeler-Denton, 19, of Sand Lake, pleaded guilty to trespassing. She is sentenced to time served.

• Michael Scott Jacobson, 36, of Mecosta, pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended license. He is sentenced to time served. He must complete 24 hours of community service.

• Ryan Lee Johnson, 27, of LeRoy, pleaded guilty to operating while impaired. He is sentenced to time served. He will be on probation for six months.
