Mecosta County’s 49th Circuit Court reports

BIG RAPIDS — The following cases were heard this week in Mecosta County’s 49th Circuit Court. All cases might not be reported.

• Ashely Renae Sprick, 30, of Morley, pleaded guilty to use of a non-narcotic controlled substance — second offense. She was sentenced to time served and will be on probation for two years. Her license has been suspended for one year, but she is eligible for a restricted license after 60 days.

• Kristopher David Hall, 36, of Big Rapids, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a non-narcotic controlled substance. He was sentenced to six months, 15 days in jail with 3 days credit and two years of probation. His license was suspended for one year, but he is eligible for a restricted license after 60 days.

• Devin Michael Shipe, 41, of Big Rapids, pleaded guilty to failure to comply with reporting duties for a sex offender. He was sentenced to time served and will be on probation for one year.

• Brooke Renee Halladay, 37, of Cadillac, pleaded guilty to first-degree retail fraud. She was sentenced to one year in jail with credit for 90 days and two years of probation. Jail will be suspended as long as she is completing Community Mental Health.
