Jack Driscoll to be at Tamarack District Library

LAKEVIEW — A book talk and signing by Jack Driscoll, a Michigan Notable Author, will take place at 5:30 p.m. on June 15 at Tamarack District Library in Lakeview.

Driscoll is a two-time NEA Creative Writing Fellowship recipient, the author of 11 books, winner of the AWP Short Fiction Award, winner of

the Society of Midland Authors Award and the Michigan Notable Book Award. His book, “The Goat Fish and The Lover’s Knot” was chosen as a Michigan Notable Book for 2018.

The Michigan Notable Book list highlights exceptional “Michigan books” published in 2017 that bring attention to Michigan authors and topics. Selections include nonfiction and fiction books that appeal to a variety of audiences and cover various topics and issues close to the hearts of Michigan residents.

This event is free and open to the public. Tamarack District Library is located at 832 S. Lincoln Ave., Lakeview.
