Local groups rebuild children’s playhouse

While preparing for the Big Rapids Antique Farm & Power Club’s 20th annual Tractor Show and Swap Meet, July 27 and 28, a group of volunteers from the Lowe’s Home Improvement store in Big Rapids and the Mecosta County Community Corrections teamed up to help rebuild the “Little Red Schoolhouse,” located in the children’s play area at the sight on Old Millpond Road. The groups tore apart, rebuilt and painted the children’s playhouse with all materials being donated by Lowe’s.
