CANADIAN LAKES — The Canadian Lakes Cruisers recently announce its 15th annual Car Show, which will be from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday Sept. 2, 2018, at the Canadian Lakes Castle.

Classic cars, motorcycles and trucks can be entered into the show, allowing the public to “oooh” and “ahhh” over the many vehicles. This is a family-friendly event. On the shady grounds, visitors may wander about the vehicles, bid on items in a silent auction, take part in 50-50 raffles and get something to eat.

Children may get their faces painted and have balloons made for them by a clown. A disc jockey will be playing tunes from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s.

Prizes will be awarded for top entries in each category. The public can select their favorite vehicle.

All proceeds from sales and auctions go to charities. This year’s selected charities are Women’s Information Services Inc. (WISE), God’s Helping Hand, and Mission 22, which tries to prevent veteran suicides. Total donations over the past several years have exceeded $7,000.

The castle is located at 9400 Pere Marquette Drive, Canadian Lakes. Vehicles may be registered the morning of the show between 9 a.m. and noon.
