MSCS students return to classrooms for 2018/19 academic year

Students raced through the halls to find their lockers and classrooms, chatted with friends and said a few tearful “goodbyes” to parents on Tuesday as they faced their first day of the 2018/19 school year at Morley Stanwood Community Schools. As bells rang to mark the beginning of the day, students ate breakfast while teachers shared the rules of their classrooms. Children gave a few hugs and shed a tear or two in kindergarten classes as they said “goodbye” to their parents at the start of the day on Tuesday.

As bus drivers opened their doors at Morley Stanwood Community Schools, children raced to the front entrances to avoid the rain.
