County commissioners approve personnel changes, MSU Extension service agreement

MECOSTA COUNTY — The Mecosta County 77th District Court will see a change to its personnel this month.

During the Mecosta County Board of Commissioners meeting on Thursday, commissioners approved allowing Brad Antcliff to transfer from his position as probation officer with the 49th Circuit Court, family court juvenile division, to the role of adult probation officer with the 77th District Court.

Antcliff is expected to begin with the district court on Wednesday, Sept. 19.

Also during the meeting, commissioners approved extending the county’s service agreement with Michigan State University Extension for fiscal year 2019.

As part of this agreement, Mecosta County provides services such as an office space and utilities, while MSU Extension provides access to educational programs and other services.
