MECOSTA COUNTY — The Mecosta County Commission on Aging (MCCOA) is once again hosting it’s annual birthday celebration for county residents 90 years of age and older.

Anyone who wishes to attend is invited to take part in the party beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19.

MCCOA Program Coordinator Beth Whyte said the event is a good way to show appreciation for the people who come to the senior center to use the services offered.

“It’s a great, fun day,” Whyte said. “There is a lot of wisdom in the room that day.”

Lunch and birthday cake will be offered at the celebration, and Steve Troyer, with the Wheatland Music Organization, will perform a variety of music for guests.

The deadline to reserve a seat for the birthday celebration and lunch is Wednesday, Sept. 12. To register or for more information, call (231) 972-2884.
