Osceola County’s 77th District Court reports

REED CITY — The following cases were heard this week in Osceola County’s 77th District Court. All cases may not be reported.

• Adam Scott Turner, 56, of Pontiac, pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license. He must pay fines and court fees.

• Cullen J. Mills, 22, of Evart, pleaded guilty to operating without insurance and transporting open alcohol in a motor vehicle. He was sentenced to complete 24 hours of community service and pay fines and court fees.

• Anthony Stephen Kuzia, 48, of Reed City, pleaded guilty to operating without insurance. He was sentenced to time service and 16 hours of community service. He also must pay fines and court fees.

• Robbie James Hopkins, 44, pleaded guilty to having letting a dog run stray. He was sentenced to pay fines and court fees.

• Joshua Ryan Morgan, 29, of Evart, pleaded guilty to two charges of attempted resisting/obstructing/assaulting an officer. He was sentenced to time served and must pay fines and court fees.

• Scott Wesley Johnson, 48, of Bitely, pleaded guilty to third-degree retail fraud. He was sentenced to 93 days in jail and credited with serving 23 days. Johnson was granted work release and must pay fines and court fees.

• Cameron Boss Austin, 38, of Hersey, pleaded guilty to operating without insurance. He was sentenced to 24 hours of community service and must pay fines and court fees.

• Kevin William Cochran, 29, of Evart, pleaded guilty to attempted disorderly person. He was sentenced to time served and must complete the Alternatives to Violence program. Cochran also must serve two years of probation and pay fines and court fees.

• Charles Henry Bolender, 58, of Hersey, pleaded guilty to operating without insurance and operating while visibly impaired. He was sentenced to seven days in jail and given credit for serving one day. Bolender also must serve one year of probation and continue outpatient mental health treatment.

• Gary Wayne Clark, 54, of Reed City, pleaded guilty to operating while visibly impaired. He was sentenced to seven days in jail and credited with serving one day. Clark may complete 48 hours of community service in lieu of jail. He also must pay fines and court fees.

• Rory Wayne Rogers, 30, of Reed City, pleaded guilty to assault or assault and battery and malicious destruction of a building. He was sentenced to 93 days in jail and credited with serving three days. He also must pay fines and court fees.

• Ashley Ann Schoenborn, 29, of Mount Pleasant, pleaded guilty to transporting alcohol in a motor vehicle and operating while visibly impaired. She was sentenced to 45 days in jail and credited with serving 16 days. She also must complete outpatient substance abuse treatment and two years of probation. Schoenborn can elect to complete 90 days of electronic monitoring or 60 days of electronic monitoring and Impact Weekend in lieu of jail.
