MSMS announces November Model Mohawks

Morley Stanwood Middle School recently announced its November “Model Mohawks.” Students are nominated by MSMS staff for displaying model behavior and doing positive deeds around the school. These students display unique qualities often gone unnoticed. They have shown good character and often find it within others. Students selected a gift and were able to donate prize money to their favorite school organization. The program is made possible due to the support and donations from Scott’s Body Shop. November Model Mohawks include Ethan Shick, sixth grade; Makenna Martin, seventh grade; and Autumn Sturdavant, eighth grade. Shick volunteered his free time to help a classmate organize and clean his binder, is always a cheerful friend and puts others first. Martin gave a special needs student her headphones when his broke and he was upset. Martin told her peer he could keep the headphones. Sturdavant asks for additional information in art class, about how to get better and what she can take home to work on, showing her passion and talent as an artist.
