Mecosta County 49th Circuit Court report

BIG RAPIDS — The following cases were heard recently in Mecosta County’s 49th Circuit Court. All cases may not be reported.

• Patrick James Moss, 40, of Grand Blanc, pleaded no contest to assault with a weapon. A charge of weapons, felony firearm was dismissed by the court. Moss was sentenced to 14 days in jail and credited for 14 days. He must have no contact with the victim. He also must complete two years probation, 40 hours community service and pay fines and court fees.

• Paul Michael Bogner, 41, of Sand Lake, pleaded guilty to failure to pay child support. He was sentenced to nine months and 15 days in jail, and given credit for serving 53 days. Jail time is suspended. He also must serve three years probation and pay fines and court fees.

• Chris Duane Hansen, 59, of Barryton, pleaded guilty to controlled substance use of cocaine. One count of controlled substance was dismissed by the court. He must serve two years probation, and his license is suspended for six months, with eligibility for restriction after 30 days. He also must pay fines and court fees.
