Sheridan Township car crash results in non-life threatening injuries

SHERIDAN TWP. — A 19-year-old from Remus is recovering from non-life threatening injuries following a car crash Wednesday.

According to the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched just after 3 p.m. to a two-vehicle car accident at the intersection of 30th Avenue and Arthur Road in Sheridan Township.

Through an investigation, deputies found the 19-year-old man failed to yield the right-of-way and hit a northbound van being driven by a 63-year-old man from Sears.

The 19-year-old was transported to McLaren Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Deputies were assisted on scene by Alpha 3 and Wheatland Township Rescue.
