BLOOM RECEIVES PRAISE FOR VETERANS PROGRAMS

POINT OF PRIDE: G.T. Recently, Bloom received word from the American Legion, Department of Michigan's Education and Scholarship Committee as being selected as one of five teachers in the state selected as Teacher of the Year. Goodman nominated Bloom, telling the committee "Bloom is a real patriot. She teaches student what it is to be an American." Over the years, Bloom has sent more than 1,000 gifts and packages to service members, as well as Halloween candy and other items, as well as recognize local veterans.
