Evart’s girls basketball season ends

EVART — Evart’s girls basketball season ended on Wednesday at Beal City in a 61-21 loss to Morley Stanwood.

The Wildcats ended the season, under coach Paul Higgins, at 8-14. The Wildcats beat Montabella 27-26 in the district first-round match

Among the seniors the Wildcats are graduating are Cyana Dellar, a forward. She scored 133 points for six points per game and totaled 101 rebounds and 29 steals

Another senior was guard Macey Wallace, who scored 92 points and had 45 rebounds and 27 steals.

Junior guard McKenzie Kimball scored 171 points for 7.8 per game to lead the team. She had 98 rebounds, 41 steals and 46 assists and made 35 3-point shots.

Kelci Elder is a sophomore guard/forward who averaged 6.8 points per game and had 132 rebounds, 27 steals and 33 assists.
