A beautiful day for a … Port City Street Fair

MANISTEE — Perfect weather greeted the large crowds of people who participated in the events of this year’s Port City Street Fair on Saturday.

The event. presented by the Manistee Main Street DDA with partners Port City Organics and Morton Salt, featured entertainment, crafts and food on River Street and the Century Boat Club’s Thorobred Round-Up Boat Show on the Riverwalk. Also, the annual United Way Chili Cook-Off was held at the Manistee Fire Hall and Michigan State and Michigan football fans enjoyed a tailgate party at the park above the City Marina, among many other activities.
