HOME CHORE WORKERS

As a senior, do you need help cleaning out your basement or garage, washing windows or walls. On rainy days our home chore men need some jobs to do when they can’t cut grass. Call and ask for Chris at (231) 723-6477 and she will schedule a day. When a rainy day arrives, Chris will call you that morning to do it that day, or wait for another rainy day. Cost is $8 per hour per man and they work together.

Attention all senior meals on wheels clients and those attending any senior meal site. As of June 4 all prices of home delivered meals and meals at the sites have increased from $2 to $3 per meal for each person. This is due to the cost increase of food and gasoline to deliver the meals. If you know of someone on meals on wheels or who eats at one of our five meal sites, please let them know of the change. This covers the entire Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency area.
