Lions’ safety Louis Delmas has knee surgery

DETROIT — When Louis Delmas sat out his first practice of training camp a week ago Monday, Lions coach Jim Schwartz called it “preventative medicine.” On Tuesday, the diagnosis became a bit more severe.
