Benefit Autism fundraiser

MANISTEE — A jewelry party/bake sale and lemonade stand will held on Sunday, Aug. 19 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Manistee Inn & Marina to benefit seven-year-old Kaylee Smith who has autism and will be traveling to Auburn Hills to participate in the 2012 Walk Now for Autism Speaks walk event.

Some of the things they will be offering at the benefit are Paparazzi Jewelery consultant Rachael Brown will be hosting a jewelry party with $3 off on every item. The funds will be given to the walk itself. A bake and lemonade stand hosted by Kaylee’s family will be happening to cover the cost of their trip to take part in the walk.
