MSU football shakes up coaching duties

EAST LANSING — Jim Bollman will share offensive coordinator duties at Michigan State with Dave Warner, and defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi is now Mark Dantonio’s assistant head coach, the school announced Monday.

Warner will handle the play calling during games. Warner also will switch to coaching running backs, while Brad Salem will switch from coaching running backs to coaching quarterbacks.

Bollman comes to MSU after a little more than a month as Purdue’s offensive line coach and replaces Dan Roushar, who left to become running backs coach for the New Orleans Saints.

He was Ohio State’s offensive coordinator and offensive line coach in 2001-11, winning a national title in 2002 under Jim Tressel. Dantonio was the defensive coordinator on that team.
