CASMAN announces honor roll

MANISTEE — CASMAN Academy is extremely proud of our students’ academic achievement for the first quarter of the 2013-2014 school year.

Forty percent of the students earned a “CASMAN Complete.” This means 40 percent of our students earned a 70 percent average in all six of their classes. Students do not earn credit for below average academic performance.

Last fall, 23 percent of the students earned a CASMAN Complete. The 17 percent increase in students earning credit in all of their classes is significant.

This success is attributed to a variety of factors including creating positive personal relationships. CASMAN Academy believes building positive personal relationships is a major component in learning. CASMAN teachers are skilled at recognizing individual differences and adjusting their lessons thus resulting in greater student achievement.

Flex Day Five has also allowed students to complete missing assignments and to receive individual and small group instruction from the staff.
