COURT REPORT: Manistee County’s 85th District Court

MANISTEE — The following cases were heard this week in Manistee County’s 85th District Court. All cases might not be reported.

• William Jack Smith, 29, of Manistee, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. He was ordered to serve four days in jail and given credit for four days served. He also was ordered to pay $930 in fines and costs and will be on probation for one year.

• Kathleen Marie Adams, 44, of Wellston, pleaded guilty to malicious destruction of property valued under $200. She was ordered to pay $980 fines and costs and will be on probation for one year.

• Ryan David Gandy, 21, of Manistee, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, fighting. He was ordered to pay $325 in fines and costs.

• William Lee-Glenn Lewis, 30, of Merritt Island, Fla., pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended license. He was ordered to pay $525 in fines and costs.

• Robert Keith Hanline, 38, of Mt. Pleasant, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated, second offense. He was ordered to serve 30 days in jail and given credit for five days served. He also was ordered to pay $2,050 in fines and costs and will be on probation for two years.

• Benjamin Lee Koon, 21, of Manistee, was sentenced for operating while intoxicated. He was ordered to serve four days in jail and given credit for four days served. He also was ordered to pay $1,295 in fines and costs and will be on probation for two years.

• Todd Kevin Bird, 48, of Howard City, pleaded guilty to failing to stop after a traffic crash. He was ordered to serve 23 days in jail and given credit for 23 days served. He also was ordered to pay $575 in fines and costs.

• Jessica Ann Moore, 35, of Kaleva, pleaded no contest to operating while impaired. She was ordered to serve one day in jail and given credit for one day served. She also was ordered to pay $1,245 in fines and costs and will be on probation for one year.

• James Howard Nelson, 49, of Sparta, pleaded guilty to disorderly person, drunk. He was ordered to pay $475 in fines and costs and will be on probation for six months.
