The Onekama Middle School Equestrian Team recently competed in a Michigan Interscholastic Horsemanship Association event. Three generations of cowgirls are pictured, and all are graduates or attending school at Onekama.

Seven participants are involved in Manistee County 4-H activities, and all share a compassion for horses.

Pictured from right to left are Deb Bradford, Elizabeth Domres, Charity Domres, Bea Wendt, Kelsey Kosiboski, Nikkol Ingleright, Jaci VanVoorst, McKenzie Bradford and McAnn Bradford.

The Manistee County horse show will be at the Manistee County Fairgrounds on Aug. 17. Admission is free.
