Employees of Chemical Bank in Manistee recently participated in “Chemical Cares Day”, the bank’s statewide volunteer in-service day held on Columbus Day. The bank is closed for business on that day and Chemical Bankers actively participate in service-related projects within their local communities.

The initiative is guided by the bank’s founding principles of improving the quality of life in the communities it serves. Identified were over 200 projects in the communities that our employees participate in, ranging from helping beautify city parks to spending time at senior centers, to leading financial lessons in classrooms.

The Manistee Chemical Bankers dedicated their day to a construction clean at the Iron Works Café/Community Kitchen to assist in preparation for their grand opening.
