ONEKAMA — One Onekama High School student will earn credits outside the classroom by working with the Portage Lake Watershed Forever.

Braden Hagen, a junior at OHS, was welcomed as the student representative on the watershed’s council last week.

Hagen will earn class credits through research on Portage Lake, stream monitoring, studying aquatic insects and engaging fellow students through classroom presentations and the school’s newspaper.
