Geranium sale to benefit library

MANISTEE — The Friends of the Library, affiliated with the Manistee County Library, will hold its 33rd annual geranium sale Friday and Saturday.

The sale offers individual plants, pre-planted or patio pots of geraniums. A wide variety of hanging baskets is also available, including those other than geraniums.

Customers can pick up plants from 1-4 p.m. on Friday at Pleasanton Valley Greenhouse, located at 14758 U.S. 31 in Bear Lake. Pick up is also available from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at G & G Farm Market, located at 1395 Lakeshore Road in Manistee.

Order forms are available at any branch of the Manistee County Library, and should be turned in by Thursday.

A portion of sales goes to the Friends of the Library, and will be used to help fund library programs and other needs.
