United Methodist Women to host annual Harvest Bazaar and Luncheon

MANISTEE — The annual Harvest Bazaar and Luncheon sponsored by United Methodist Women will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17. All are invited to the event which is held at the Manistee United Methodist Church, located at 387 First St.

New this year, the Quilting Group of the church will show their unique lap quilts with sales going to specific charities. Included at the bazaar are the ever-popular Attic Treasures as well as hand-made specialty items in the Crafts booth which include beaded jewelry, baby gifts, knitted scarves and apple pie fixings in a jar.

The Art Alcove contains original local art. Radko cutlery is available as well as bling for special occasions. Men may find just the tool that’s been needed and children can enjoy decorating a pumpkin.

Home-made vegetable soup with sandwich, pie, and beverage will be available for a fee from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pie and coffee are available anytime for a fee and bake sale items will be available for purchase.

Proceeds from the bazaar and luncheon will go to missions both local and world-wide to aid women and children.
