Barry graduates from Albion College

ALBION — Zachary Barry recently graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Albion College, receiving a degree in biology and a minor in psychology.

Barry graduated with College Honors, one of just 21 students to complete the Honors Program for this distinction. The honor of summa cum laude signifies that Barry graduated with a cumulative grade point average above 3.9. Phi Beta Kappa is a national honor reserved for students among the top 10 percent of the graduating class. Barry was honored by Albion’s faculty with a Lyman S.V. Judson Endowed Award .

Barry is the son of Robert and Theresa Barry of Manistee and a graduate of Manistee High School.

Albion College is a private liberal arts college located in south central Michigan. Founded in 1835, Albion was the first private college in Michigan to have a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.
