ONEKAMA — The haunting harmonies and catchy melodies of Traverse City-based band The Accidentals will be heard at 7 p.m. on July 11 at Onekama Village Park in Onekama.

Consisting of multi-instrumentalists Katie Larson and Sav Buist and drummer Michael Dause, the group formed in 2011.

The group blends pop, jazz, bluegrass, indie folk, country, classical and other genres into their sound.

While also playing cover songs, their original songs reflect their exposure to a wide variety of instruments while staying true to their orchestral roots. Along with playing violin and cello, the members also play guitar, bass, glockenspiel, mandolin, banjo, piano, organ, accordion and kazoo.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, snacks and drinks.

In case of threatening weather, the concert will be held in the Onekama Community School’s Cafetorium.
