Woman to share story of her life next week

MANISTEE — Jani Wild, daughter of Dr. David Wild of Manistee, will share the story of her life during a special presentation this month.

PFLAG Manistee sponsors Wild’s presentation at 7 p.m. on Monday at the Manistee Intermediate School District, located at 772 E. Parkdale in Manistee. The audience will learn of the struggles and triumphs in the life journey of this young woman. There will be a question and answer session and light refreshments following the program.

Wild legally married to her longtime partner Deb eight years ago. They have five adopted children.

The story of their life together as parents of their energetic young family will inspire and amaze.

Beyond her already very full life, Wild has taken on yet another role as she pursues her studies to become an Episcopal priest.

Wild also will attend this month’s PFLAG Manistee meeting at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Holy Trinity Church, located at 410 Second St., in Manistee.

Everyone is welcome: new parents, members of the LGBTQI community, and interested allies. PFLAG’s mission is to support, educate and advocate for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender members of the community, their families and friends.
