THOMPSONVILLE — One of Michigan’s most buzzed-about bands, The Go Rounds, will perform an outdoor concert at Michigan Legacy Art Park on July 22.

This Kalamazoo band is known for energetic performances and music that crosses, blends, and deconstructs genres — from country to folk, psychedelic art rock, baroque folk and classic rock — to create an accessible and engaging experience that leaves audiences talking.

The band is led by frontman Graham Parsons. The Go Rounds embrace collaboration at the heart of everything they do, from songwriting to performances and recording. Featured by Paste Magazine’s “The Best of What’s Next,” this rising Michigan band brings “a head-clearing common sense to the sometimes senseless head-banging of rock ‘n’ roll.”

Tickets are available now at MyNorthTickets.com.

The Go Rounds’ concert continues the Summer Sounds series at the Art Park, which also features performances from Joshua Davis, Terry Barber, The Crane Wives, Drew Hale, Rachael and Dominic Davis, and Channing and Quinn.

The park’s amphitheater has seating for up to 250 concert attendees, is ADA accessible, and the forest setting provides a delightful atmosphere for live performances.

Tickets and event details can be found at michlegacyartpark.org/events/summer-sounds/ or by calling (231) 378-4963.

Concert begins at 7 p.m. Rides from the parking lot to the amphitheater are available for those with limited mobility beginning at 6:15 p.m. Guests are welcome to bring picnics, lawn chairs, or blankets. Art Park folding chairs will be available to rent or purchase. If raining, the concert will be held indoors at Crystal Mountain.
