Mill-and-fill operations started in city

Throughout parts of the City of Manistee, new pavement is being put down as part of mill-and-fill operations conducted by Rieth-Riley Construction Company. Randy Misener, project manager for Rieth-Riley, said on Wednesday that the projects — pending weather — could be completed bySaturday. At the June 21 Manistee City Council meeting, the council approved a $140,933.52 contract with Rieth-Riley to complete mill-and-fill operations on local streets.
