Dennos Museum to host Carrie Newcomer in concert

TRAVERSE CITY — The Dennos Museum Center at Northwestern Michigan College will present Carrie Newcomer in Milliken Auditorium.

The concert begins at 8 p.m. on March 10.

Newcomer has been described as “a soaring songstress” by Billboard, a “prairie mystic by the Boston Globe. Rolling Stone wrote that she asks all the right questions.

One of the definitive voices of the heartland and progressive spirituality, Newcomer has the ability for sharp observation of the world.

The Dennos concert series presents a diverse lineup of exciting performances in one of the best concert venues in the region. The adjoining museum serves as a beautiful and spacious reception area where guests can meet the performing artists, or view the current exhibitions.
