ISN to host garlic mustard workbee on May 12

MANISTEE — The Northwest Michigan Invasive Species Network, along with local partners, will host a workbee to remove garlic mustard from the Magoon Creek Natural Area from 9 a.m. to noon on May 12.

The workbee is open to all ages. Participants are asked to bring work gloves and water.

The group will meet at the Manistee United Methodist Church, located at 387 First St. in Manistee, and will then carpool to Magoon Creek.

The event is free and all participants will receive a T-shirt and lunch at the church after the event.
