Appreciates Women Who Care donation

To the editor:

On behalf of the Meals on Wheels program in Manistee County, we would like to sincerely give thanks for our group being picked to receive the 100 Women Care quarterly donation. Your support helps us to continue providing vital services to our Manistee Community and empower those to remain in their homes as they strive to continue their independence.

Your gift brings so much more than just a meal, it brings hope, friendship and peace of mind that others really do care. Because of you, our homebound seniors will have a hot nutritious meal today. They will find the comforting feeling of safety and security; knowing that a caring Meals on Wheels staff will be checking on them.

You are all a vital part of what Meals on Wheels does every day and your support enables us to continue our great mission across the region. As a participant in Community Actuion, you make a difference by “Helping people and changing lives.” Manistee Meals on Wheels is one of the many programs offered thru Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency in our region.

On behalf of all of the seniors we touch throughout the year, thank you for your support and generosity.
