Thompsonville Fall Festival approaches

THOMPSONVILLE — The community is welcome to enjoy the Thompsonville Fall Festival, sponsored by The Wayne and Joan Webber Foundation from noon until 3 p.m. on Oct. 28.

The festival is located at the Thompsonville Fire Hall and Community Center at 14714 Lincoln Ave. in Thompsonville.

Enjoy free hot dogs, cider and donuts and more. There will be live music, a bounce house (weather permitting), carriage rides, free photo booth and reading with therapy dogs Chaz and Denny.

Build your own scarecrow (bring a vehicle to take them home) and each child can pick out a free pumpkin to take home. In addition, attendees are welcome to wear a Halloween costume.

The annual Old Fashioned Pie Auction and Bake Sale for the Library will take place, as well. People can donate a homemade pie to the festival to be auctioned or homemade goodies for the bake sale-all proceeds to benefit the Betsie Valley District Library.

Call the library at (231) 378-2716 to donate pie or any baked goods.
