Farr Friends Exchange Christmas Cookies this Thursday

ONEKAMA — Starting at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, the Onekama community is invited to bring home baked cookies to the Farr Center to exchange with others.

Bring up to three dozen treats and a container to take home a selection of cookies to enjoy over the holidays. There will also be singing of carols led by Marcia Rogers, the opportunity to view Frank English’s annual Christmas village display and the beautiful tree decorated by the Portage Lake Garden Club.

This is the last gathering of Farr Friends until Jan. 11, 2018. On that date, Chuck and Mary Reed will share the history of their home, known often as the Rademacher House.

Farr Friends is a free gathering sponsored by the Portage Lake Association, a nonprofit organization of volunteers dedicated to making Onekama a better place to live, work and play. Find them at www.Onekama.info or follow on Facebook at “1, – Onekama, Michigan.”
