MANISTEE — Join the Manistee Civic Players cast of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” at the Manistee High School for the final weekend of performances.

This heart-warming, popular, play tells a tale of acceptance and love for the Christmas season and for all year long. And, to help get everyone in the Christmas spirit, the MCP has included a community sing-a-long before and after each performance that includes everyone’s favorite Christmas carols.

Shows will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 8 and 9 and at 2 p.m. on Dec. 10 in the auditorium at Manistee High School.

Directors Tom Richert and Bonnie Brown are proud of their cast and are excited about the reaction from the community thus far.

“We are so happy to see so many members of community attend our shows and to feel their support. This is such a beautiful show and we want as many people as possible to share in the experience we’ve created for them,” said Brown.

“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” is a show that touches people’s hearts and enforces the true meaning of Christmas. Be ready to laugh and cry as the Herdman children connect to the traditional Christmas story being put on by their local church in their own way, while the regular Sunday school kids see it in perhaps a new way.
